Coach Quintin Jones, a new Life Wellness and Physical Education teacher, says he wouldn’t consider doing another job until he’s “really unable to coach.”

Jones is originally from Memphis, Tenn. and attended The University of Memphis. Jones has been teaching for 5 years. He says there is more to teaching P.E. than simply physical fitness.

Jones says he enjoys being able to help students and the community. Being at Kingsbury makes him feel at home, he said. In his spare time, Jones like to really relax as much as possible. He also is very passionate about coaching football. In addition to teaching.

Jones is serving as the head coach of Kingsbury’s Football team.

He says when he’s feeling stressed, he will listen to music and work out. In addition to relieving stress, this helps remind him why he became a coach in the first place.

Jones says he had several other coaches inspire him along the way and hopes to have a positive influence on students’ lives.
