Alleged threatening message causes frenzy on campus

SCS security was informed earlier today by the Memphis Police Department of a threatening post made by a KHS student, according to a post on the Shelby County School’s official Facebook page.

The post states that extra officers will be on campus for the remainder of the day.

No staff or students were harmed. The school was also not placed on lockdown. According to the SCS Facebook post, MPD is investigating the incident.

Many students were checked out today after a Facebook post made by Angela White-Davis encouraged parents to pick up their children because of an alleged “threat on the school” by a student.
